Student Leadership

The Mountain View Instrumental Music Program believes in empowering students to be active participants in the planning and realization of their musical experience.  Leadership students are self-identified through an application packet and then confirmed through a director interview. Section Leaders are then chosen by director interview from the general leadership pool.

Overseeing all student leadership are 2 band and 2 orchestra members, voted upon by their peers.  Affectionately dubbed the "Cabal", these students meet regularly with directors to assure program continuity.
